Not very crowded at 8:30 on a Thursday morning. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you, using a stuffed animal as your "table tent". The breakfast sandwich was delicious! I had egg, bacon and swiss on a croissant. The croissant was light and buttery. Paired with a great dark-roast coffee, it was a wonderful breakfast.

This is the best classic bean in town. It's beautiful, clean, charming. Service is kind and professional. My girls loved how they give you a stuffed animal for a table marker. The food is always delicious!

We used to come here all the time when we lived in Topeka and it was one of my mom's favorite places to go to. The food is very good and the staff are friendly.

Wow for a random stop, excellent food, choices and amazing drinks. My wife had the Sunday Special (Turkey BLT on crack) with a October drink special (Midnight Mass) and I got a Breakfast Omelette with a October drink (ButterBeer) All of this was yummy and exceptionally good. Highly recommend

In the spirit of exploration my Mom and I visited the Classic Bean. Overall, I enjoyed it. The place is spacious. There's live music on occasion. The food was good and worth the money. The service was good too. However, my Thai coffee was mistaken and I received a Thai tea instead. Which the batista was willing to fix. However, he convinced me to give it try which I did. The Thai Tea was delicious so all good. My Mom enjoyed her omelet and cleaned the plate! Definitely go visit the Classic Bean and enjoy.

Dec 6 2024. Today I came back after a long time I hadn’t been there. It’s still a cozy place. Their food is good, as well as their coffee. I love that unique table placer that they have since I remember... Instead of giving you a number for the waiter/ waitress to find you to bring your order to your table, they give you a cute stuffed animal. ,

This is the bigger of the two locations, conveniently located in Fairlawn Plaza. Perfect for grabbing a quick bite or a cup of coffee while you're out and about. The service is a lot less personal than you'd receive at the Kansas Ave. location, but that's due to the size and location of this shop. Pricing can be about 10 - 15 per person. This location has live music on the weekends and also offers a small reserved room for private parties, meetings and get togethers.
